Lead Teacher 

Lead Teachers are responsible for the care and education of a group of children including curriculum & program development, teaching, supervision, parent communication and for supporting the training and development of support staff including Assistant Teachers, Student Teachers and Volunteers.   Qualifications include:  A positive and enthusiastic attitude!  A love for children and a passion to watch them grow.  A great work ethic.  Teachers will be expected to “get down on the floor” to interact with and teach children. A Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.  Certification and prior experience working with preschool age children in a group/school setting preferred.  Teachers of children under two years of age must have at least 10 hours of training in infant/toddler care including SIDS training.  Criminal background checks will be performed on each applicant.  Excellent wages and benefits offered.

Assistant Teacher

Assistant Teachers implement a program of activities under the supervision of the Lead Teacher.  The Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher in program development, teaching, supervision of children, parent communications and upkeep and management of the classroom.   Qualifications include:   A positive and enthusiastic attitude!  A love for children and a passion to watch them grow.  A great work ethic.  Teachers will be expected to “get down on the floor” to interact with and teach children.  Must be 18 years old, a high school graduate and have satisfactorily completed a minimum of 40 hours training in early childhood education.  An Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.  Teachers of children under two years of age must have at least 10 hours of training in infant/toddler care.  Criminal background checks will be performed on each applicant.  Excellent wages and benefits offered.

Support/Float Teacher

Floating teachers move through the building during the day assisting both Lead and Assistant Teachers with activities, providing lunch break opportunities for teachers, filling in when teachers leave for appointments, filling in when teachers are on vacation, help in handling special projects, etc.  While working with children, the floats will be responsible for assisting in the teaching and supervision of children.  Qualifications include:   A positive and enthusiastic attitude!  A love for children and a passion to watch them grow.  A great work ethic.  Teachers will be expected to “get down on the floor” to interact with and teach children.  Must be 18 years old, a high school graduate and have satisfactorily completed a minimum of 40 hours training in early childhood education.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.  Teachers of children under two years of age must have at least 10 hours of training in infant/toddler care.  Criminal background checks will be performed on each applicant.  Excellent wages and benefits offered.
